What it is

A dedicated page for calendar patterns on any ticker: month, quarter, half-year, weekday, and US presidential term-year average returns. Uses full available price history (not the Signals date-range cap).

What it shows

Bar charts with current-period overlays, a comparison panel for record ranks, and bell curves with z-scores when at least five historical instances exist. Click calendar or term-year bars to switch the distribution panel.

Open Seasonality for XLE, toggle Month, click June, and read where month-to-date ranks vs prior Junes plus the z-score on the bell curve.

What it is

How far back you can load price and signal data when exploring, backtesting, or screening.

What it shows

Date-range selectors on Signals, Backtest, DCA, and Creator respect your tier cap. Pioneer unlocks the full available history in the database.

Example

Enthusiast: test a signal on the last 5 years. Professional: study the 2008 cycle with 20 years. Pioneer: run MAX on indices for the longest possible backtest.

What it is

Named containers for real buy/sell transactions, allocation, and performance tracking.

What it shows

Overview value chart, Holdings weights, transaction log, Analysis vs benchmark, and optional share links.

Example

Create Retirement, log 100 AAPL at $150 and 50 MSFT at $380, then review allocation on Holdings and total return on Overview.

What it is

Backtest simulates saved entry/exit strategies on one ticker; DCA Analysis compares regular investing vs signal-timed buys with the same capital and contribution schedule.

What it shows

Backtest shows an equity curve, trade log, and strategy vs buy-and-hold metrics (return, drawdown, Sharpe, win rate). DCA charts final value, signal fires, uninvested cash, and return on deployed capital.

Example

Backtest MSFT with an RSI swing strategy over 5 years at $10,000 starting capital. On DCA, compare monthly $500 into CVX vs only buying when VIX High (>35) fires.

What it is

Signals Creator lets you combine native signals with AND/OR logic and a trigger window, then save custom signals. Signal Screener scans many tickers for recent fires.

What it shows

Creator previews occurrence counts and dates before saving. Screener returns a sortable table of tickers that fired within your lookback; click a symbol to jump to Signals with context pre-filled.

Create VIX & Fear/Greed (AND, same day), preview on SPY, then scan RSI Oversold across Stocks with a 1M lookback and open NVDA from the results.

Enthusiast & Professional: dates roll up to ISO calendar weeks (e.g. 2025-W12); regime buckets show category labels only (e.g. Elevated) without the underlying index reading; distance z-scores are hidden from signal context.
Pioneer: exact calendar dates (e.g. 2025-03-17); buckets include the reading (e.g. Elevated (28)); full z-scores and % distance from SMA in tooltips and regime breakdown.

Example

What it is

Slice signal history by market conditions: VIX level, Fear/Greed, recession, trend, and on Pioneer also HMM regime and GARCH vol regime (Calm / Normal / Stress).

Filter controls above charts and tables; only fires that occurred under selected regimes are counted in stats and backtests.

Example

On AAPL + RSI Oversold, turn on VIX High (>35) to see how the signal performed only during stressed volatility regimes.

What it is

Splits signal performance across regime buckets so you can compare sample sizes and returns in each market condition.

Rolling-window view of how signal forward returns evolve over time instead of one static aggregate.

What it shows

Time series of rolling median or mean returns at horizons you select; highlights periods when a signal worked vs faded.

Example

Check whether RSI Oversold on QQQ still had positive 1-month rolling returns in 2022 or only in earlier bull regimes.

What it is

Statistical rigour tools: holdout train/test splits and edge-decay analysis to stress-test whether performance persists out of sample.

What it shows

Train vs test metrics side by side, significance hints, and decay charts showing if edge shrinks on more recent data.

Example

Run train/test on a 10-year AAPL signal study to see if median returns hold on the withheld period before trusting the signal live.

What it is

A Hidden Markov Model estimates each ticker’s latent market regime (bull, mean-reversion, or bear) from returns, volatility, and momentum features. Signals fire only when the model enters a new regime, not on every day that regime persists.

Signals included

• HMM : Entered Bull: any prior state → bull
• HMM : Entered Bear: any prior state → bear
• HMM : Entered Mean-reversion: any prior state → mean-reversion

Why it matters

HMMs estimate hidden market states from price features. Transition signals fire on regime changes, so you can study returns around those shifts instead of every day spent in bull or bear.

What it shows

Current HMM regime panel on the Signals chart, regime filters and breakdown, transition signals in the screener, and the same forward-return analytics as production signals.

Example

Load AMZN on the Signals chart, open the HMM regime panel, select HMM : Entered Mean-reversion, and compare 1-month forward returns in the mean-reversion breakdown bucket vs bull or bear.

What it is

TD-Style Sequential tracks trend exhaustion in two phases on daily bars, inspired by Tom DeMark’s sequential methodology. TD9 is the 9-bar setup phase; TD13 is the 13-bar countdown phase that can follow a completed setup.

• TD-Style → Setup 9 Buy (TD9 buy setup complete)
• TD-Style → Setup 9 Sell (TD9 sell setup complete)

What it is

An AR-GARCH model estimates each ticker’s time-varying volatility and standardized return shocks (z-scores). Signals use stricter thresholds than typical ±2σ screens, so fires are less frequent.

Signals included

• GARCH Vol → Entered Calm / Stress Regime: conditional vol crosses into calm (≤10th pct) or stress (≥90th pct) bands
• GARCH MR → Overshoot Down / Up: z ≤ −2.5 or z ≥ +2.5 vs the model forecast
• GARCH Combo → Capitulation / Euphoria: MR overshoot and vol in stress (capitulation) or calm (euphoria)

What it shows

Chart markers and forward-return tables like other research signals; GARCH Vol Regime in signal tooltips; GARCH vol regime filter chips and breakdown buckets (Calm / Normal / Stress); MR z-severity breakdown (Mild / Moderate / Extreme) on overshoot signals.
